I’m Blair Anderson, founder of BLAIR.BIZ, a custom software agency focused on automation and AI based in Kirkland, WA.

I build software that solves real business problems. Not prototypes, not demos… production systems that teams depend on every day. My work sits at the intersection of software engineering, business operations, and AI.

My Journey

My path to software started in business. At Washington State University, I studied entrepreneurship and won the annual business plan competition. After graduation, I joined our family’s distribution business and learned how national retail and supply chains actually work.

In 2007, Amazon opened their doors to hard-goods vendors. I led the effort to onboard multiple Fortune 500 companies onto VendorCentral. By 2011, our agency was managing tens of millions per year in GMV across dozens of accounts.

But I wanted to build, not just manage. I went through a coding bootcamp, became a software engineer, and joined Instacart as a Senior Software Engineer, where I worked on the core web interface and platform-agnostic solutions at scale.

In 2017, I founded Anderson & Associates and started combining my engineering skills with deep business operations experience. That combination… knowing how businesses actually run AND being able to write the code… is what makes BLAIR.BIZ different.
